Can't Open Your Safe? What a Safe Locksmith in Atlanta Does

The combination is forgotten, the key is lost, or the keypad will not take the code. Whatever the reason, a safe that will not open is a job for a safe locksmith. We come to your home to open it, and a safe lockout with us starts at $99.

Why forcing a safe makes it worse

A safe is built to stand up to the tools a burglar would bring. Quality safes protect against drilling with hardened steel plate. Most modern safes are also fitted with relockers, which are triggered by excessive force and then lock the safe semi-permanently. Some high-security safes have a glass plate wired to spring-loaded bolts, and a drill that breaks the glass releases them.

Force, or a drill in the wrong spot, can leave you with a safe that is harder to open than the one you started with.

How we open a safe

We look at the safe and its lock first, then choose the opening method that fits it.

Whenever possible, we use non-destructive techniques. Some safes need drilling or another procedure to get them open. Either way, we work to keep the damage to a minimum and get you back to your valuables.

What happens when you call

Home safes lock with a combination dial, an electronic keypad, or a key.

  1. Tell us which one your safe has and roughly how big it is, so the technician arrives ready for that safe. We give you an honest arrival time.
  2. When the technician arrives, we check a photo ID and proof that the safe is yours.
  3. We confirm the final price on-site before any work begins.
  4. We open the safe, and you get back to what you keep in it.

The ID check protects you, because it means we would not open your safe for anyone else either.
